My Bikes

1972 Kawasaki F7 175

VIN# F7-28146

Red

I bought this bike to replace the F7 that was stolen.  The bike came from California and it is hard to describe how nicely preserved it is.  There were a few fine scratches on the body work on this bike, and the paint around the oil filler cap was worn off.  I collected all NOS body parts and replaced them.  Other than that, there has been no disassembly done on this bike.  It is one of the nicest examples out there, and too nice to take apart........although I want to make it perfect.  I acquired one of these bikes at the age of 15 and with 21.5 hp on tap, I was king of the hill.  I ended up riding that bike many many miles, including highway stretches between parents and grandparents houses of about 60 miles.  The luggage rack was also missing from this bike when I purchased it, so I found one and had it rechromed.  The bike runs very well and brings back many memories.  The only mechanical item that has been worked on is the replacement of the crank seals.
