My Bikes1971 Honda SL70 #45 VIN# SL70-184737 Light Ruby Red Beautiful unrestored SL70 K0 in the Light Ruby Red color. Very High Serial Number Bike. Bit of a mystery on this bike in that it still has its' original tins, tires, levers etc, but the exhaust pipe has been replaced with a NOS unit. The battery box on the bike had been replaced with one that would obviously hold a much larger battery, but none of the wiring was molested. The bike had a horn, but the wiring was not intact. I bought (I should say my family bought me) a Red SL70 brand new in 1971 and I eventually went to the Honda shop and bought the street legal kit for it which included the speedometer and horn and parts. I took my first drivers license test on that bike and became 'mobile'. I added the speedometer and a working horn to this bike to mimic my original. The "Jewel" of the collection.
